SalesLogix Version 7

It’s finally here, the new Sage SalesLogix version 7, with abundant new features designed to make customization, integration, marketing and selling, among other things, easier. Sage SalesLogix v7, available as of late summer 2006, is set to provide new and enhanced capabilities across the product suite for all users, administrators, managers, IT personnel and developers.

What can you expect in the new version 7? For starters, this new Sage SalesLogix version offers interactive dashboards, drill-down analysis, expanded lead management, email marketing capabilities, integrated service and support, featuring full mobile support in addition to enhanced integration with Sage ERP back-office solutions.

Never before was it possible to customize activity manager, for example by adding fields, as it is with the new version 7; nor do you have to worry about recustomizing your software in order to hold on to legacies. Even better is the new fresh looking Windows XP feel available only in Sage SalesLogix version 7.

Apart from that, Sage SalesLogix Version 7 offers native support for .NET development, allowing developers to make .NET assemblies and add them to the SalesLogix database. They can be bundled and even synchronized out to remotes. This new feature also brings many new possibilities to your SalesLogix development projects.

Here is what other users had to say about the new SalesLogix version 7:

SalesLogix quote The next version of SalesLogix (v7) will include support for executing .NET 2.0 code in SalesLogix. You run code from .NET assemblies, load forms into SalesLogix, and just about anything else. This is an awesome addition to SalesLogix for the developer that wants to get outside the “Architect box”. While this really does rock, it doesn't stop there. Loading .NET forms into the client. Forms, replacements for things like the account detail screen, passing values to the .NET code and back to the calling script, etc. Granted you could do all of this before (I've been doing this stuff in projects for years) but the best part of all of this is that the .NET stuff you add to SalesLogix can be bundled and will all synch out to remotes. Awesome stuff.SalesLogix quote
