Line 45 Stack Overflow Error in SalesLogix

Version: 5.x, 6.0

Problem:

When creating a new ticket, the user receives a Line 45 stack overflow error occurring when the default urgency has a turnaround time of 547 hours or more. This turnaround time will cause error messages to display when a new ticket is created.

Solution:

To work around this, create an urgency with a turnaround time of 546 hours or less. In order to create an urgency, in the Administrator, click the System icon on the left navigation bar. On the Office tab, select and double-click the Office entry. On the Support tab, click the Urgency button. Now select an urgency with a turnaround time of 547 hours or more and change the turnaround time to less than 547 hours. Click Save. Repeat for other urgencies that have turnaround time of 547 hours or more.
Click Close, and OK.

Error examples:

“<title bar> Support Runtime: Error on line: 45 - Overflow
<title bar> Basic had an error... Context: leReceivedBy @0: Basic Ticket:META Ticket Received By When Change Commit Context: leReceivedBy @0: Basic Ticket:META Ticket Urgency When Exit Status: 0xFFFFFFFF”

Specifying an urgency other than the default, prompts the following error messages will appear when the user moves the cursor out of the urgency field

“<title bar> Support Runtime: Error on line: 45 - Overflow
<title bar> Basic had an error... Context: leReceivedBy @0: Basic Ticket:META Ticket Urgency When Exit Status: 0xFFFFFFFF”
