Duplicate Key Row Error in SalesLogix

Version: 6.x

Problem:

The remote client syncerrors.txt file may contain one or more occurrences of the duplicate key row error, possibly due to the user updating the host database, running Sync Server and then creating a new remote database. In this scenario, the updates already exist in the outgoing TEFS created by the Sync Server cycle, and the updated information is already contained in the remote database. When the Sync Client attempts to apply the TEFS, it detects that the data already exists in the remote database.

Solution:

These errors are informational and do not impact the functionality of the remote database. However, this error is scheduled for correction in a future version of SalesLogix.

Error examples:

Cannot insert duplicate key row in object "XYZ Table" with unique index.
