Log On Error in SalesLogix

Version: 6.0, 6.01

Problem:

OLE DB Error Appears when remote user is attempting to connect to the database.

Solution:

The remote user likely has the 6.1 version of the SLX OLE DB provider. Uninstall and then install the 6.0 version of the SLX OLE DB provider.

Error examples:

”Error activating group: OLE error 80040E14”
