Account Deletion Error in SalesLogix
Version: 6.01, 6.1
Problem:
User receives an error when trying to delete accounts. If Scribe bundle v3.1.3 was installed on a SalesLogix v5.2.x database, and the database was upgraded to SalesLogix v6.x with Scribe v4.0 installed, running Integrity Checker, reports 10 bad Scribe joins.
Solution:
After you ensure all users are logged out of all SalesLogix applications, log onto SalesLogix Administrator. On the Tools menu, click Integrity Checker. Then click the Tests tab. Right-click in the grid and then click All Tests twice. At this point, no tests should be selected. Scroll down, find the Other - Joins are invalid (Delete) test, and double-click the test to toggle it to Yes. You can also right-click the test and then click Enable. Now click the Options tab followed by the Fix button. Once again ensure all users are logged out of SalesLogix before you click OK. Then in the message box, click OK and Close.
Error examples:
