Error attempting to delete user and reassign user's accounts via Territory Realignment in SalesLogix

Problem:

User currently owns records and error in attempting to reassign the user’s accounts via the Territory Realignment Process; error attempting to delete user. A possible cause for the error message is that the User is a Primary Team Member.

Solution:

If the User is a Primary Team Member, assign the Team a new Primary Team Member. You should then be able to delete the User.
This issue is corrected in SalesLogix 4.1.

Error examples:

 Attempting to delete a SalesLogix User
"Lastname, Firstname cannot be removed at this time. This user currently owns records which must be reassigned before deleting."

Attempting to reassign the User's Accounts via the Territory Realignment process
"No records match the criteria" This error message is misleading since the User does not own records ("No records match this criteria")
